I was born in LA and completed a master’s in fine arts at ASU. For over thirty years, I worked in health care as a family nurse practitioner, primarily in autism research. I am first author of The FRIEND Program for Creating Supportive Peer Networks for Students with Social Challenges, including Autism. In 2023, I was the first-place recipient of the Olive Woolley Bert Awards and have published creative non-fiction in bioStories and Adelaide Literary Magazine. I live and write in an old house in Salt Lake City with my family and Cadoodle, Lizzie.
